Left-Behind Parent - Collecting Abducted Children - Can a father whose children have been abducted to Israel fly out and collect them, if the abducting parent, the mother, refuses to return them, even though an Israeli court orders them back home, to the country of habitual residence, in Hague Convention child abduction proceedings?

Yes, if this is expressly written in the judgment – as in Family File 5134-05-12 in July 2012, where Tel Aviv Family Court Judge Samara expressly ruled that the father, who was represented by our legal practice, could return the 3 abducted minors to the U.S., if the mother did not do so. This is what happened in practice, too.
